Sample automation · Lawn & garden
From 18 months quiet to a booked visit and a review
Past customers who have gone quiet get three short emails at most. Anyone who books moves to a thank-you and a review request after the visit. Anyone who says stop, stops.
Who enters
- Last completed visit 18 or more months ago, a mowing, a cleanup or an aeration, from the business’s own service records.
- A recorded permission to email: how and when the customer gave it, and never a bought or rented list.
- No open or upcoming appointment, and not unsubscribed or suppressed.
- Not in this automation in the last 6 months.

Subject: A quick favour, if you have a minuteDrafted for this sample.
Exit rules, checked before every send
- Booked by any route (the email, the phone, the website): leaves the reactivation steps at once and enters the booking branch.
- Unsubscribed, marked as spam or hard-bounced: leaves at once and is suppressed for good. No later automation can email them.
- Replied: leaves, and the reply goes to a person at the business.
- Reached day 10 without booking: leaves. Eligible again after 6 months, if the entry rules still hold.
- At most one email from this automation in any 3 days, and none on a day the customer already had a booking message.
What gets measured
Bookings first, then clicks. Opens are reported with a caveat, because Apple Mail Privacy Protection loads emails automatically and counts opens nobody made. See the sample results report.
